I hope this blog is an encouragement to you in your life’s journey. Most importantly, if you don’t know Jesus, I hope you are ready to receive Him today. Having a relationship with Jesus is the most exciting thing in the world.

The Bible says,

“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:23-24)

The good news is that God’s loves you and wants to be close to you. On the cross, Jesus took upon himself the punishment for sin that we each deserve. To demonstrate His power over death and sin, God raised Jesus from the dead. When you accept Christ, your sins are forgiven. You are filled with the assurance of eternal life in heaven. He will lead you into a life full of His love, joy and peace.

If you would like to receive God’s gift of eternal life, God calls you to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. It may be helpful for you to prayer this prayer:

God, I thank you for sending Your Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for my sins.  I thank you that he rose from the dead.  I receive Him right now as my Savior and Lord.  I ask you to come into my life and make me a brand new person.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“…if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” –Romans 10:9

I rejoice with you regarding your decision to follow Jesus. If you prayed the prayer I want to encourage you to do a few simple things:

  • If you do not already have one, get a Bible and begin to read it, so you can grow as a Christian.
  • Find a local church with a body of believers who will love and encourage you in your walk with the Lord, a church that teaches and lives the Word of God, the Bible.
  • Ask your pastor about being baptized.
  • Develop a life of prayer and praise. Learn how to talk to God and learn how to worship Him everyday
